Each February, WCA holds its annual Legislative Conference in Madison. The two-day meeting provides a briefing on legislative proposals affecting counties and reports by WCA Government Affairs staff, state officials and thought leaders. The 2026 WCA Legislative Conference will be held February 10-11, 2026 in Madison at the Madison Concourse Hotel.
As always, the WCA Legislative Conference gives attendees a front row seat to conversations on critical county issues, highlights legislative strategy discussions as we enter a new budget cycle, and brings together some of our state’s biggest hitters, from the Governor to legislative leadership, in an up-close-and-personal format.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund of registration fees will be made if written notice of cancellation is received at the WCA office by Friday, January 23, 2026. There will be no refunds after January 24, 2026.. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the WCA office to dias@wicounties.org.
